The Best Bariloche Tours

Eighteen tours, ranked by what they actually deliver — not by who pays us most.

We rank these on four things: how much of the park you actually see, how much the operator saves you in logistics, value for money, and what travellers say afterwards. Every product links to its live GetYourGuide page, where you will find current prices, ratings and reviews.

We earn a commission if you book through the links below, at no cost to you — which is why the ranking is what it is rather than what a supplier would like it to be.

How we rank these tours

We look at four things, in this order:

  • What you actually see. A day that spends eight hours in a van for one viewpoint does not rank highly.
  • Logistics saved. Boats, gravel roads, border crossings and park timetables are where a good operator earns its fee.
  • Value. Not the lowest price — the most trip per euro.
  • What reviewers say afterwards. We read the three-star reviews, not just the five-star ones.
Our honest advice: do the lake first. If you have three days, spend one on the water (arrayanes or Puerto Blest), one on the Circuito Chico and Campanario, and one on either Tronador or the Seven Lakes. Keep a flexible slot: wind and cloud decide what is worth doing on any given day.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best tour in Bariloche?

For most people, the boat trip to Isla Victoria and the Bosque de Arrayanes. If you have more time, Puerto Blest and Cerro Tronador are the two most spectacular full days.

Is Cerro Tronador or the Seven Lakes Road better?

Tronador for glaciers and high mountains; the Seven Lakes for a classic scenic drive and the town of San Martín de los Andes. In autumn, the Seven Lakes wins for colour.

Do these tours include park entrance fees?

Usually not. Boat excursions and the Tronador road charge a national park fee that is paid separately on the day unless the listing says otherwise.

Are tours available in languages other than English?

Spanish is the default, and English, Portuguese and other languages are widely offered. Filter by language on the booking page before you confirm.
